Hi my name's Amy.
My Passion for early education started at a young age, whilst deciding what career path to take when finishing high school I knew that I wanted to work with children in my future.
My childcare journey began in 2006 when I began studying a Certificate III in children’s services at Victoria University. At the beginning my intentions of completing my Certificate III was to someday step up through the childcare industry and move into primary teaching but little did I know then the fulfilment the early childcare industry would give me as well as the endless opportunities to grow and develop professionally all whilst maintaining the excitement of teaching young children.
Since then I have had the opportunity to hold various positions within the industry from Assistant to Director. As Director of Penguin Childcare Ravenhall I thrive on building strong and positive relationships with the educators, children and families as we move together into the future as an exceeding childcare centre. I aim to meet the needs of others and create a happy, safe and caring environment for all to enjoy attending.
The essential part of my philosophy and practices is to provide the highest level of care and education for your child in a warm, nurturing and safe environment. By creating a feeling of acceptance and sense of belonging, I will provide an environment which enables each child to feel safe and secure. I aim to lead and educate staff with professional development training to further enhance their skills and knowledge to educate and assist the children with their development and milestones.
I welcome you to drop in at any time to find out more about this great care and education service.
