This fun craft activity involves something that you probably have already in your fridge. Yes, that’s right it’s celery! After cutting off the stalks for a snack, the head of the celery can be turned into a stamp in a couple of easy steps. Children of all ages will love this activity!
- 1 bunch of celery
- Coloured paints
- Take your bunch of celery and cut off the stalks leaving the base about 7-10 centimetres
- Press the celery head into the paint, making sure it is evenly covered, then stamp it on to your paper
- Once you have your desired about of flowers stamped, stems and leaves can be added to the flowers
- To add some sparkle to your flowers, glitter can be added to the paint before it dries
