Crunchy and moreish, these sweet potato chips are perfect for an afternoon snack.
Serves 30 (side dish)
1.25kg orange sweet potatoes (approximately 5), peeled and cut into 2mm slices
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp cumin seeds
- Preheat oven to 180ºC.
- Combine the cut sweet potato, olive oil and cumin seeds in a bowl. Mix well.
- Place the sweet potatoes in a single layer on a lined baking tray. Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes, turning over half way or until sweet potato chips are light brown around the edges. Serve.
Notes & Tips
- You can try this recipe with a variety of different vegetables such as potato, carrot, zucchini, pumpkin, beetroot or kale.
- You can alternate the spices used on your chips. Some great alternatives include dried rosemary, oregano, basil, dried onion or garlic flakes, Moroccan seasoning or cinnamon.
